‘Nearly Starved To Death!’ — China Woman Says M’sian Food Is Inedible In Viral Clip

She also complained about the language barrier.
When it comes to food, Malaysians are fierce defenders whenever someone speaks ill or disses on it.

As such, it shouldn’t come as a surprise to see Malaysians slamming a China tourist who complained about how she nearly died of hunger as she found the local cuisine not suiting her tastebuds and calling it ‘inedible’.

It’s my first day in Malaysia and I nearly starved to death by the roadside,” she claimed.

To prove her point about how unappetizing the food was, she showed a tray of food being served at a Chinese restaurant she managed to find, which she said were “simply too bad to be eaten”.

The woman even made a face when she took a mouthful of a plate of rice served with meat and called a bowl of chili usually served with chicken rice “weird and unappetizing”.

Complained about language barrier

Aside from the food, the China tourist also had plenty to say about the language barrier she faced when trying to communicate with the locals.

Ever since I touched down yesterday, I’ve only met 3-4 Chinese people. The rest simply told me, ‘I don’t speak Chinese’.

“Which influencer told me that there are Chinese people everywhere and that you don’t need to use a word of English here?” she fumed.

The woman added that she tried using the translator app but her attempts in trying to communicate with the locals proved to be frustrating.

‘Put some respect on it!’

Needless to say, the clip caused an uproar among netizens, who were angered by the China tourist’s scathing remarks about Malaysian food.

‘Where did she go to meet only 3-4 Chinese people? Perlis ah?’
