The ongoing search for landslide victims in Kampung Rajaโs Blue Valley witnessed a renewed effort at 8.30 am today, as teams from multiple states and agencies gathered to continue the search and rescue (SAR) operation.
According to Sin Chew Daily, Md Gezani Md Ghazi, Pahangโs Malaysian Fire and Rescue Department (JBPM) deputy director, confirmed the involvement of 158 personnel from Pahang, Perak, and Selangor.

This collaborative effort includes the Malaysian Civil Defence Force, police, Malaysian Minerals and Geosciences Department, and the Public Works Department.
The operation, bolstered by two JBPM K9 dogs, Frankie & Bob, is concentrating on the central sector of the landslide, where two victims were previously discovered.
The Malaysian Minerals and Geosciences Departmentโs monitoring indicates no new soil movement, though operations are subject to pause during heavy rainfall.

Despite the drizzling rain and challenging terrain requiring a 3km trek to reach the landslide site, the SAR team, equipped with digging tools and stretchers, remains steadfast in their mission.
The landslide, occurring around 2.40 am on Friday, has had a devastating impact, with five Myanmar nationals, including a woman, feared buried after two houses were engulfed.
