An emergency evacuation took place at the Integra Tower in Kuala Lumpur after a bomb threat at the Retirement Fund Incorporated (KWAP) office in the afternoon yesterday (Aug 17).

According to Wangsa Maju police chief Superintendent Ashari Abu Samah, police received a call about a bomb being planted in the building and ordered an emergency evacuation, reported FMT.

Bomb threat turned out to be false
Ashari said that the entire building was combed through in search of the bomb and no one was allowed to enter the building for three hours.
However, the call turned out to be fake.

Ashari said that nothing was found by the bomb squad at Integra Tower’s 35th and 36th floor, where the latter is the location of the KWAP office.
