A man’s body and a Hilux were found floating on a lake behind Haji Fisabilillah Mosque at Cyberjaya yesterday (11 Feb).
The police have confirmed today that the body belongs to a murder victim who is a 43-year-old Indian man.

Sepang District Police Chief, Assistant Commissioner Wan Kamarul Azran Wan Yusoff said there were five cuts on his head and left wrist based on an autopsy of the victim’s body.
“The case will be investigated under Section 302 of the Penal Code,” he said.
He said the police received a report at 10.15 pm yesterday from an individual fishing at the lake who had spotted the body floating in the lake behind the mosque.
Members from the Sepang IPD Criminal Investigation Department and the forensic team attended the scene and found the body.
He added that a rescue team from Cyberjaya Fire and Rescue Station (JBPM) was then called to help lift the body to the bank of the lake.
“The examination results found that the body was a man wearing a black T-shirt, black jeans and a belt.” he said.
