However, a foreign worker currently working in Malaysia revealed that he has been working for 19 years and has RM800,000 in savings for his family in Bangladesh.

A video posted by @pokchek906 on TikTok showed a Bangladeshi worker enjoying his meal.
It is seen in the video where his meal consists of a plate of white rice, salt, and onion with green chilli.
@pokchek906 then asked the Bangladeshi if he owned a house or land and how much has he saved up while working here.
He nodded in response to the OP’s questions and mentioned that he had saved RM800,000 in Malaysia.

“There’s no use of keeping the money here”
The video has since garnered over 1.8m views and 82.7k likes at the time of writing, with many netizens impressed with the worker’s way of life.
There are also netizens who don’t believe the Bangladeshi worker’s claim to have RM800,000 in savings.
@pokchey906 then posted another video explaining how the worker was able to save RM800,000.
The worker said that he receives RM5,500 for his salary and only uses RM300 monthly for his expenses.
Therefore, after working in Malaysia for 19 years, he managed to send RM5,200 every month to his family, making him having more than RM800k for his family.
On the other hand, the video also showed him eating cucumber as his dinner.
