Ambitious.

The video, which rapidly went viral, portrays the man, believed to be based in Penang, expressing his gratitude to Malaysia for its prosperity, which he attributes to the labour of foreign workers.

He asserts that foreign labourers have played a significant role in the country’s economic development, particularly in sectors like construction, agriculture, and services.

However, he contends that their efforts do not grant them justice and enough rights in Malaysia.

“Wealthy because of foreign workers”

He started the video with greetings and full respect to the majority of Muslims, Malays, Malaysian laws, and the Malaysian government led by PM Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim.

However, in his next statement, he expressed pride in attributing the country’s wealth and development to foreign workers.

Malaysia has progressed, has become wealthy because of whom? Because of foreign workers. The factories in Malaysia are all from abroad. Who works in those factories? Contract workers, palm oil plantation workers, rubber tappers, who does it?

“Vegetable gardens, cleaning drains, digging drains, picking up trash early in the morning, who does it? They do, and they get paid for it. But they (foreign workers) have to pay permit fees too.” he said.

Future leader

Confidently, the man also stated that Bangladeshis have the opportunity to be elected as members of the Malaysian Parliament and even become the country’s leader someday.

One day, Bangladeshi children will become Malaysian Parliament members. Remember, I’m telling you (all), that Bangladeshi kids will become the Prime Minister of Malaysia. I mean it.

“Bangladeshis, foreign workers, work diligently… work hard, know how to earn money, not like you,” he said.

Called Out Ustaz Sophian

In the same video, the Bangladeshi man also criticized an individual referred to as Ustaz Sophian for frequently raiding shops owned by Bangladeshis in Penang.

Most netizens believe that the Ustaz Sophian mentioned is Mohd Sophian Mohd Zain, the chairman of the Penang Surplus Welfare Association, due to his firm stance against illegal activities by foreign workers in the state.

Calling him a fool, the man claimed that Ustaz Sophian doesn’t know anything.

In Penang, there are hundreds of Indonesian and Thai shops. Why doesn’t he raid them? Idiot. Indonesians marry Malays, and Malay men marry Indonesian girls. They run businesses selling meatballs, satay, and pancakes.

“Thais run businesses selling Tom Yum, grilled fish, all sorts of fried foods. What do you know? Why don’t you raid them? Foreigners and Bangladeshi men marry Malay girls. What do they want to do? Steal things? Rob? Deceive people? No.”

“Remember this, you fool. That’s why you’re cursing people. I’m not cursing people. I’m not using foul language. I’m not disrespecting people. I’m speaking the truth. You don’t know anything; I know how things are in Penang,” he added.

The video’s content has sparked anger online, resulting in most netizens asking PDRM to take action on the man.
