[VIDEO] Police investigating assault of van driver at Taman Puncak Jalil

SERDANG – Police are probing into a fight that resulted in a van driver getting assaulted by a fellow motorist Jalan PUJ3, Taman Puncak Jalil, Seri Kembangan.

In the 21-second clip, a man who drove a Proton Saga BLM was seen landing punches across the van driver’s face several times.

The video has since garnered 1.7k reactions, 1.7k comments and 6.2k shares as of writing.

Serdang police chief Assistant Commissioner A.A. Anbalagan said that police were made aware of the clip that went viral on Facebook yesterday (Feb 27).

“While punching the van driver, the man could be heard shouting ‘nak lagi tak, nak lagi tak (you want some more)’ and dragged him out of the vehicle, causing him to fall to the ground,” he said in a statement today.

Anbalagan added that the cause of the incident has yet to be identified no police report was lodged by either party.

“However, the Serdang District Police Headquarters (IPD) has lodged an investigation under Section 323/506 of the Penal Code.

“We request the cooperation of individuals involved and members of the public with additional information to come forward to assist in investigations.
