Malaysians who were travelling to work in Kuala Lumpur were left to gnash their teeth in agony after an army tank broke down in the middle of the road, causing massive traffic jams.
The scene was first caught on CCTV at 10:49 am today on the Kuala Lumpur City Hall’s Control and Command Centre (KLCCC DBKL) Twitter account.

It also reported that the incident took place along Jalan Damansara to KL Sentral.
Several officers in camouflage uniforms could be seen surrounding the army tank, with one them standing on top of it.
Army tank was for National Day parade
According to a spokesman from the Kuala Lumpur City Hall (DBKL), the army tank was part of the National Day parade rehearsal, reported The Star.
The Vibes later tweeted that DBKL’s traffic command centre reported that the tank had been towed away.
‘Not even wartime and it’s already spoilt’
The post has since garnered 2.4k reactions and more than 800 comments at the time of writing, where netizens were visibly frustrated by the inconvenience the tank had caused.
They also criticised the quality of the tank itself.
“If you don’t have money to service (the tank), just inform us next time. As a taxpayer, citizens can help (to pay).”

“It’s not even wartime yet and it’s already spoilt.”

Well, let’s hope all the other tanks are working well or else our roads will be more congested than before!
