As the Chongqing flight drama continues to circulate online, netizens have begun sharing a series of livestream clips showing the woman involved getting into a heated argument with a man from Chengdu.
Heated back-and-forth over flight incident
In a screen recording circulating online, the man was seen repeatedly criticising the woman’s behaviour during the now-viral flight incident, which later led to a heated exchange between the two.
The man told her directly that the issue stemmed from her actions and that she did not deserve sympathy.
He also pointed out that her behaviour had affected other passengers, including those with connecting flights, and criticised her for causing unnecessary delays.
At one point, he remarked that the incident had gone viral beyond China, suggesting she had “lost face abroad” as people around the world watched the situation unfold.
Woman defends herself, insists she did nothing wrong
In response, the woman defended her actions and maintained that she had not violated any rules during the flight.
She questioned why authorities did not take action against her at the time, arguing that it proved she was not at fault.
She also reiterated her dissatisfaction with how the cabin crew handled the situation, claiming her concerns were not properly addressed.
Repeated question catches viewers’ attention
Amid the tense exchange, one moment that stood out to viewers was when the woman repeatedly asked the man whether he was from China.
Why are you coming at me like this? Are you Chinese? Are you Chinese? Bro?”
Despite the conversation continuing, she brought up the same question multiple times, prompting a visibly frustrated response from the man, who asked her to stop repeating it.

They also argued over her choice of airline
During the livestream, the man also questioned her expectations, pointing out that she had taken a budget airline and a red-eye flight, yet still demanded a higher level of service.
In response, the woman explained that she was not the one who booked the ticket, claiming that the trip was arranged by a friend and she was unaware it was a budget airline.
First of all, there were four of us travelling together. It was arranged by a friend, so I had no idea what kind of ticket he bought. I only knew that I paid 500 yuan for baggage check-in, and there were no issues with that.”
She added that it was her first time flying with the airline and insisted that the service she experienced did not meet her expectations.
