Apple fans rejoice! Apple Malaysia updated their website on Wednesday (Feb 1) with their latest ‘Back To School’ promotion, where university students and teachers and staff at all levels can get a pair of free AirPods for purchasing selected Mac and iPads.
Besides, eligible students will also be getting 20% off on the purchase of an AppleCare protection plan.
Apple Education Promo kickstarts in M’sia
It was previously speculated by many that Apple did not include Malaysia into its promo list as most countries had already kickstarted the program back in January.
Also, the latest Mac Mini with M2 was removed from the free AirPods list and still remains unavailable in Malaysia.
Other devices which were excluded from the promotion were the 9th & 10th generation iPad and iPad Mini.
The selected products that come with a pair of FREE AirPods are as follows:
- iMac
- MacBook Pro
- MacBook Air
- iPad Pro
- iPad Air
Students will also be able to enjoy education pricing for all the products mentioned above.
How to apply Apple Malaysia Education promo
To get started, you’ll need to log in to UNiDAYS’ website using your student or educator ID. Once you’ve done that, you’re free to check out and purchase any Apple product that appeals to you.
As for the free AirPods, they are worth RM629 and is of the 2nd generation version. You can also opt to upgrade it to the 3rd generation or Pro version by topping up RM200 or RM470 respectively.
Each student/educator is eligible for a maximum of two pairs of AirPods when they purchase one product from the Mac series and another from the iPad series.
The promotion starts today (Feb 2) and will end on March 2.
