Despite heavy criticism towards prime minister Anwar Ibrahim taking up the finance minister role, PKR deputy president Rafizi Ramli expressed confidence that Anwar will do a much better job than Najib Razak.

‘No money left to steal’
He said this was because Anwar was a man of character and had a different upbringing than his predecessor, reported FMT.
I don’t think any minister can steal money like before because there is no money (left), they’ve been stolen.
“That is why I am worried about (losing) my hair. After this, I might have to wear a kopiah to cover (my bald head) because there is no money,” he joked during a ceramah at Padang Serai yesterday.

Rafizi added that his role as economic affairs minister along with the finance minister was to expand the country’s economy so that there would be enough money to help the people.
On his first day as Cabinet member, Rafizi held a press conference to address concerns about Anwar being prime minister and finance minister at the same time, where he attributed it to “extraordinary circumstances”.
