All commuters will be able to enjoy free rides on all public transport services under RapidKL, Rapid Penang and Rapid Kuantan throughout polling day tomorrow.
This includes Rapid Bus, monorail, MRT, BRT and LRT services.
In a statement signed by FMT, Prasarana shared that this move will make it easier for Malaysians to exercise their right as citizens to vote.
“My50 pass holders may use the services as usual while Touch ‘n Go card users will be able to travel without the fare being debited from their cards,” reported FMT.
For those who wish to use tokens on the public transport, they will need to visit the customer service office at any station to obtain the free ride token.
For Rapid Bus services in Kuala Lumpung, Penang and Kuantan, commuters may board the bus without scanning their cards.
