On Tuesday, we reported of a 6-year-old autistic boy named Zayn Rayyan who went missing on his way back from the playground at Damansara Damai.
According to his mother, Zayn was last seen wearing a white collared school uniform with the SK Damansara Damai 2 emblem on it, black pants and school shoes.
A search party was immediately launched yesterday to search for Zayn, but it ended in tragedy after his body was found near a river.

According to Sinar Harian, Zayn’s body was found in a river 200 metres away from his residence at Apartment Idaman at around 10pm by fellow residents who were part of the search party.
Petaling Jaya police chief Assistant Commissioner Mohamad Fakhrudin Abdul Hamid confirmed the incident.
I cannot comment further as we have just found the victim’s body and are currently in the process of investigating the surrounding area where the body was found,” he said.
Zayn will later be buried at the Seksyen 9 Islamic burial ground in Kota Damansara today.
His grandfather, Zahari Mohd Reba, told Sinar Harian that burial proceedings are now on hold pending the results of the post-mortem report.
Zayn’s body is currently undergoing a post-mortem at the Sungai Buloh Hospital.
