A man in his middle age, who had been battling depression and health issues, was discovered lifeless in his car, which was parked outside his residence.
It appears that he tragically took his own life through charcoal burning inside his car.

The incident took place in Taman Sin Tat in Butterworth, Penang.
First found lying in his car at 6 am
According to China Press, the 62-year-old deceased was known as “Ah Qing” and lived alone.

It is understood that a female neighbor first discovered Ah Qing lying in his car at around 6 am today(27 June).
She initially thought that he was merely resting due to fatigue and did not take it seriously.
“At about 9 a.m., I went out and saw that he was still sleeping in the car. I felt something was wrong and knocked on the window, and when there was no response, I opened the door, but he was unconscious.”
The neighbor noted that Ah Qing was foaming at the mouth, and there were two small buckets of charcoal in the car.
Lived alone since father’s passing in May last year
He and his father immediately contacted the ambulance for help.
“By the time the ambulance arrived, the man was already dead, and the cause of the suicide was unclear,” he added.
The neighbor further revealed that Ah Qing was known to be talkative and would regularly greet others.
The deceased worked as an automobile painter and would occasionally seek a moment of respite by resting in his car after working late hours.
As such, the neighbor expressed his disbelief upon learning that Ah Qing had chosen to end his own life.
He also revealed that Ah Qing had lived alone since his father’s death in May last year.
At 11 a.m. today, authorities transported Ah Qing’s body to the mortuary located at Hospital Seberang Jaya for an autopsy.
