Parents must always keep a lookout on their children’s whereabouts as there’s no telling when they might land themselves in trouble or in fatal accidents.
A four-year-old boy plunged to his death after he fell from the 16th floor at Block B at the Sungai Buloh Hospital Integrated Quarters yesterday (Mar 24).

Berita Harian reported that police were made aware of the incident at 4.28pm and a team of officers from the Sungai Buloh District Police Headquarters (IPD) immediately rushed to the scene.
Sungai Buloh district police chief Superintendent Mohd Hafiz Muhammad Nor said the victim, who was the youngest of four siblings, was confirmed dead by medical personnel at the scene.
Initial investigation found that the victim’s parents were sleeping and were unaware that the victim had climbed the window located in the living room.
“When the victim’s mother woke up, she saw her child standing on the edge of the open window at the living room and was unable to reach him before he fell,” he said in a statement.
Mohd Hafiz said the case has been classified as sudden death (SDR) and further investigations will be carried out, including interrogating the victim’s parents.
“The child’s body was sent to the Sungai Buloh Hospital for a post-mortem to determine the cause of death.
“We also urge those with information on the case to contact the Sungai Buloh IPD at 03-61561222 or any nearby police station,” he said.
