Ahmad Zaquan Shahaimee @ Umeri, 41, has been sentenced to a week’s imprisonment and a fine of RM2,000 following a conviction of indecent exposure.

The incident, which occurred by a cafe side, was brought to light in the Magistrate’s Court, where the accused openly admitted to the act upon hearing the charges from Chief Magistrate Imran Hamid.
The offence, articulated as an intention to produce obscene gestures audible or visible to others, took place on the evening of November 8.
Represented by Deputy Public Prosecutor Syazalia Che Suhaimin, the court heard how Ahmad Zaquan engaged in the act of masturbation while seated on his motorcycle by the cafe where he frequently visited.
Evidence of repeated indecent acts
According to Kosmo, the case details reveal a disturbing pattern where the accused performed the act multiple times upon sighting a young woman who worked at the cafe.
The situation escalated when a cafe patron intervened, seizing Ahmad Zaquan’s motorcycle keys and alerting the authorities.
‘Would you like it?’
In a poignant moment before the sentencing, Magistrate Rais Imran questioned the accused, highlighting the reprehensible nature of his actions by asking him to consider the impact if such acts were witnessed by his own family.
“Try to imagine, if other people do that indecent act in front of your family members, would you like it?,” he asked.
In addition to the jail term and fine, the magistrate imposed an extra three months of imprisonment should Ahmad Zaquan fail to pay the fine, underscoring the seriousness of his misconduct.
