Rape is a heinous crime that can be committed against a child or adult by either a family member or friend, where the victim is left to deal with the devastating physical and psychological horrors for years to come.
A girl in Johor was forced to endure 11 years of sexual torture after she was allegedly raped by her own father since she was a child and eventually became pregnant.

According to NST, the girl, who is now 17-years-old, suffered continuous instances of rape at the hands of her father.
Due to the rape, her body began to manifest signs of physical changes, which were noticed by a family member. This subsequently led the girl to admit that she had been raped and lodge a police report.
Muar police chief Assistant Commissioner Raiz Mukhliz Azman Aziz said a urine screening revealed that the victim was pregnant and that investigations found she had been raped since she was six at her house.
Police later arrested the 41-year-old suspect to assist investigations. He was also found to have tested positive for methamphetamine.
The suspect has since been remanded for seven days beginning yesterday (Oct 29) as ordered by Magistrate Fatin Dalilah Khalid and the case is being probed under Section 376(3) of the Penal Code, which carries a prison sentence of up to 30 years and a maximum of 10 lashes if convicted.
