4 M’sian Siblings Abandoned At Govt Building In Perak After They Were Chased Out By Their Grandma

How could she?!
Most families would always ensure that their children and loved ones are with them in the house as leaving them to fend for themselves exposes them to multiple dangers.

Unfortunately for a group of siblings in Perak, they found themselves kicked out from the house by their own grandmother for no apparent reason.

According to Harian Metro, the four siblings were left behind at the Perak Tengah District Administrative Complex in Batu Gajah at around 10.50am yesterday (Nov 23).

The siblings were aged 11, 6, 3, and 10-months old respectively.

Perak Tengah district police chief Superintendent Hafezul Helmi Hamzah said police received a report from a Kampung Gajah Social Welfare officer at 5.39pm.

Allegedly chased out by their grandma

He added initial investigations revealed that a security guard told the person who lodged the report (complainant) that all of the children were dropped off in front of his guard post by an unidentified woman who drove a Toyota.

“According to the 11-year-old, he and the rest were chased out of the house by their grandmother in Kampung Kuchai, Bota, and were driven to the government complex by the unknown woman.

“The complainant then took the children to the Gopeng Shelter Home for Children for further action,” he said.

Hafezul Helmi added police are working to locate the parents or guardians of the children and urged members of the public with further information to contact the investigation officer Inspector Mohd Hanif Dzulkifli at 012-6477452.

We hope the parents of these poor children will come bring them home and ensure that they are safe and sound!
