Two men got into a physical brawl with a delivery rider after the latter had reportedly verbally insulted a female staff at a restaurant at Persiaran Bayan Indah, Bayan Lepas on Tuesday (Mar 14).
The fight was recorded by a bystander and the clip soon made its way to social media and has gone viral since.
2 men fight with delivery rider at Penang restaurant
At the start of the clip, it showed two men hitting the delivery rider who was wearing was appeared to be foodpanda uniform with plastic chairs.
However, he was able to wrest the plastic chair away from them and wrestled with one of the men, causing his t-shirt to come off in the process.
As the fight progressed, the delivery rider turned his attention to the other man and began pummeling him with his fists.
After several onlookers managed to break up the fight, the delivery rider is seen picking up his mobile phone and recording the incident.
One of the men walked away to avoid being recorded but the delivery rider continued to be in hot pursuit while holding his phone.

Police arrest 3 suspects
Southwest district deputy police chief Deputy Superintendent Jafri Md Zain said that police received a report from a 66-year-old man 30 minutes after the fight.
“According to the senior citizen, the fight involved him, his 68-year-old friend and the food delivery rider, which left them with injuries to the head and body,” he told NST.
Jafri added that the delivery rider also lodged a report at 9pm on the same day and that police are still working to uncover the cause of the fight.
Three men aged between 44 and 68 have since been arrested and the case is being investigated under Section 324 of the Penal Code for voluntarily causing hurt by dangerous weapons.
