A teen’s wild ride in a Perodua Myvi ended abruptly when he crashed into a parked Perodua Bezza, causing it to careen forward and slam into the stone fence of the Sungai Jarom Police Station in Kuala Langat.
This eventful episode took place last Saturday evening. The young man, a 19-year-old shop assistant, was driving his Perodua Myvi from Banting towards Jalan Sungai Buaya, Jenjarom, when he apparently lost control while attempting to make a left turn.
The impact from his car’s collision sent the parked Bezza hurtling towards and into the stone wall of the police station, much to the surprise of the on-duty officers.
Despite the dramatic accident, it’s reported that the young driver miraculously escaped without any injuries.
Teen has no driving license
Drug and alcohol tests performed on him returned negative results, according to Sinar Harian.
“The driver involved in the accident is a 19-year-old male shop assistant. Fortunately, he was not injured in the accident. His urine test came back negative for drugs. However, he did not have a driving license.”
The local police, led by Kuala Langat District Police Chief, Superintendent Ahmad Ridhwan Mohd Nor, are investigating the incident under Section 43 of the Road Transport Act 1987.
