A 17-year-old Malaysian named Zufar has touched the hearts of many online after sharing that he sells watermelon drinks despite living with dyslexia.
In a TikTok video that recently went viral, Zufar explained that he does not place a fixed price on his drinks and instead lets customers pay whatever they feel is appropriate.

Struggles with reading and counting
According to Zufar, he has difficulty recognising numbers and counting due to his condition.
Many people ask why I don’t put a price. It’s because I’m not good at counting and I can’t read numbers well. The doctor said I have dyslexia,” he shared.
Despite the challenges he faces, Zufar said he chooses to see it as a test in life and remains determined to keep going.
‘I know how to work hard’
He also expressed gratitude towards his family, who continue to support and encourage him.
But I’m okay. I see this as a challenge,” said Zufar, adding that his family has always encouraged him not to give up.
According to him, his mother, father, brother, and sister all continue to believe in him despite his struggles.
Even though I’m not good at reading and counting, I know one thing. I know how to work hard. Every cup I make, I make with all my heart,” he shared.
Netizens praise his determination
The video quickly gained traction online, with many netizens praising Zufar for his hardworking attitude and positive spirit despite his difficulties.
At the same time, some also expressed disappointment after noticing claims that certain customers allegedly paid extremely low amounts for the drinks, including using only coins.
Many flooded the comments section with words of encouragement and prayers, hoping Zufar’s business journey will continue to grow and become easier in the future.
