If you’ve ever been to a kids’ playground, you probably would have seen signs telling visitors that the equipment are meant for kids of a certain age only and not adults.
However, there are some who disregard the sign and still go ahead in playing with it, where they eventually get themselves into a sticky situation just like this girl.
16yo M’sian girl gets stuck while playing the swing
In a Facebook post uploaded by the Bidor fire department on Saturday (June 10), Chief of Operations Ahamd Tarmizee Bin Hassan wrote they received a call at around 8.55am.
When they arrived at the scene, they saw a 16-year-old girl stuck in a swing located at a kids’ playground in Taman Sungkai Perdana.
Unfortunately, the girl had gotten herself too “attached” to the swing that firefighters had to use special equipment to cut it apart and set her free.
Berita Harian reported that the entire rescue operation took just 5 minutes to complete and was brought to an end at 9.30am, approximately 35 minutes from when the call was first made.
While the girl was left unscathed by the incident, the same can’t be said for the swing, where it was totally in disrepair and couldn’t be used again.
Netizens tickled by incident
In the comment section, netizens couldn’t help but to laugh over the absurdity of the matter and wondered how the girl managed to get herself stuck in the first place.

“The firefighters must be trying so hard not to laugh.”
However, there were also those who condemned the girl for destroying public property with her recklessness.
“Those who destroy children’s toys in the park should be reminded next time. It’s meant for kids but even elephants want to play it too.”
“It’s not for you, sister. It’s for small children and not big kids like you. You’re already Form 4 oi!”
We hope the girl learns her lesson and doesn’t fool around with playground equipment meant for kids only!
