Two 16-year-old boys pleaded guilty to charges of raping a disabled girl at the Pekan magistrates’ court today
The duo entered the plea after the charges were read out before magistrate Woon Sze Mun, reported FMT.
According to the charge sheet, the boys allegedly committed the offense between 9pm and 10pm at a fish pond hut near Kampung Siong in Kuala Pahang on Oct 6.
Facts of the case stated that the victim crossed paths with one of the boys through TikTok and went out to meet him a day before the incident.
The boy then took her to meet the other boy, where they both invited her into the fish pond hut and subsequently raped her.
One out on bail
Both boys were charged under Section 376(1) of the Penal Code, which carries a jail term of up to 20 years and whipping upon conviction.
Bail at RM8,000 was imposed on each of the boys, but only one of them managed to walk free after raising bail.
Nov 30 was fixed by the court for the submission of reports.
