A 15-year-old boy in Jelebu, Negeri Sembilan has been accused of raping his 14-year-old sister, resulting in her giving birth.
Harian Metro reported that he was charged with two counts of rape under Section 376B (1) of the Penal Code, where he committed the crime in June and September 2022.
Raped sister twice
For the first charge, the accused was charged with having sexual intercourse with his sister between 11pm and 12am between 21 June and 30 June 2022.
As for the second charge, he was accused of having sex with the victim between 11pm and 12am between 1 September and 10 September 2022.
Victim gives birth to a child
Based on the facts of the case, the victim later gave birth to a child on Feb 16 with the help of their mother.
The accused pleaded guilty to both charges when it was read out before Magistrate Norshazwani Ishak.
The court then granted the accused bail at RM4,000 with one surety and ordered him to report to the police station on the first day of every month.
He is also not allowed to stay together or have any contact with the victim.
The case was prosecuted by Inspector Muhammad Nizam Rafii while the accused was unrepresented.
