In yet another case of students falling to their deaths, this time it involved a Form 2 student who studied at Heng Ee Secondary School, Penang.
Unfortunately, she didn’t survive the fall and subsequently passed away on the same day of the tragedy.

According to China Press and NST, the incident occurred at around 4.45pm yesterday (Nov 18) when the victim plunged from the eighth floor of the school building.
Following the fall, the school immediately contacted the hospital and the victim was rushed to the hospital for treatment. No one was allowed to enter the school grounds except for the authorities.
Sadly, she was pronounced dead at 5.30pm despite the medical officers’ attempt to save her life.
A police report was later lodged by her parents when they were notified of the matter.
Police: Case ruled as sudden death
Northeast district police chief Assistant Commissioner Abdul Rozak Muhammad later confirmed the incident in a statement, adding that police were notified by medical officers at Penang Hospital (HPP) of the victim’s passing at 5.57pm.
“Based on police investigations at the scene, no signs of foul play were found and the case has been classified as sudden death (SDR).
“A sudden death report has been opened to facilitate further investigation and we urge the public not to speculate on the matter nor to circulate images or videos of the scene, out of respect for the feelings of the victim’s family,” he said.
This is the third case in recent months involving students plunging to their deaths, with similar cases taking place in Seremban and KL respectively.
