[OFFICIAL] Zuraida Kamaruddin Loses Ampang Seat To PH Rival

Incumbent and Parti Bangsa Malaysia (PBM) president Zuraida Kamaruddin has failed to defend her Ampang seat, which she held since winning it during the 2008 general election.

PH’s Rodziah Ismail was declared the victor with 56,754 votes, where she defeated PN’s Sasha Lyna (27,073 votes).

As for Zuraida herself, she had to settle for a total of 4,589 votes.

Zuraida is best well-known for contributing to the collapse of the Pakatan Harapan government in 2020, where she switched allegiance to Bersatu and later PBM.
