“The kuih will be sold out within 2 hours sometimes”

The Kosmo! also explained that the couples did not mind the economical depression yet tried their best to keep the prices as low as possible. They solely wanted to make their business a charity for those who can’t afford a good meal in the day.

Running a business for 20 years regardless of the operating costs rising, she did not come down in favour of escalating the prices.

The married partners only use raw ingredients to make their kuihs appetizing. Roslina even revealed that even though people tend to come to a conclusion that they wont be able to sustain the business for a long period of time due to such low prices, it really isn’t that bad.

“Thank God, sometimes all the kuihs are sold out in less than two hours,” she explained, who prepares up to 5,000 pieces of kuihs every day.

Not only a business yet a charity

She imposed further mentioning that they’re able to withstand their business model and was able to hire a worker to help them with selling their kuihs.

Moreover, she considers her profession as a form of charity while acting as her own livelihood, which Rosalina believed to be a fair compromise for both herself and her customers.
