What was supposed to be a routine flight from Kuala Lumpur to Xiamen turned into a puzzling security breach when a woman, shockingly, boarded the plane without a ticket.
This bizarre incident not only left passengers bewildered but delayed the flight by a staggering four hours.
A xiaohongshu user, 小超人不会飞, shared the unusual experience online, revealing how their August 29 flight on Xiamen Airlines turned chaotic after a fellow passenger’s mysterious boarding.
The flight, operated by Xiamen Airlines, seemed routine at first. But as passengers were settling in, the netizen noticed a woman blocking the aisle.
“She was standing there, and everyone was stuck behind her,” the user recalled.
What came next caught everyone off guard. A flight attendant asked the woman about her seat, to which she responded, “I don’t have one.”
When prompted to show her boarding pass, the woman nonchalantly replied, “I don’t have a ticket.”
Within minutes, an announcement was made instructing all passengers to disembark the plane and return to the terminal for a security recheck.
“I saw the woman being escorted out by airport staff,” the netizen said, adding that police were likely involved at that point.
Passengers then had to go through the tedious process of having their passports and tickets verified before they could reboard the flight.
