A seemingly ordinary car parked late at night caught more attention than they expected at a quiet part of Johor.
A couple was detained by enforcement officers from the Johor State Islamic Religious Department (JAINJ) after they were found behaving inappropriately inside a car at a parking lot in Taman Universiti, Parit Raja, at around 12.30am today.

According to Kosmo, the duo—a 26-year-old man from Perak and a 23-year-old woman from Penang, are both unmarried and believed to be students at a public university.
When officers approached the vehicle, they found the couple inside a car that was parked in a quiet area and had heavily tinted windows, with the engine running and air conditioning switched on.
‘We were discussing classwork’
The couple pleaded with officers not to take action, saying they were still studying.
They explained that they were discussing a topic the woman didn’t fully understand in class earlier that day.

The enforcement operation was carried out after the Islamic Department of Johor (JAINJ) received complaints from the public about several cars parked in the area late at night, often with engines running under the pretense of being “broken down.”
JAINJ is currently investigating the incident.
