[VIDEO] Teen kisses exhaust pipe before it was confiscated by police

A better love story than Twilight?

Motorcycle revving late at night is a nightmare for many residents as it disturbs the peace and robs them of a good night’s sleep.

Yesterday (March 3), a few videos showing motorcyclists being summoned by police to replace illegal modifications done on their motorcycles at the Kuala Selangor police station blew up on the Internet and has aroused much public attention.

One of the videos also showed a teen petting his exhaust pipe and giving it a farewell kiss before handing it over to the police officer.

A total of ten individuals aged between 18 and 25 were stopped at a roadblock for failing the sound test conducted by the Department of Environment (JAS). They were then ordered to bring the previous exhaust pipe to the police station and replace them as reported by Kosmo!.

“We also found a man in his 20s who was willing to spend up to RM7,000 to ‘order’ with his dream motorcycle.

Kuala Selangor District Police Chief Ramli Kasa said that the individuals were also slapped with a RM300 compound under Section 48A (1) of the Environmental Quality Act 1974 for failing to comply with the permitted noise limits.

He also advised all road users, especially motorcyclists, to abide by the laws set in place.
