Football fans in Perak recently gathered for one of the state’s biggest football watch parties as U Mobile brought its ULTRA Football Fest to Bulatan Sultan Azlan Shah.
Held from 6pm on 10 July until 5am the following morning, the event transformed the venue into an all-night football playground filled with live match action, interactive challenges, music performances and fan activities.
Powered by U Mobile’s ULTRA5G, the experience brought supporters together to watch, play and celebrate football as one connected crowd.
The tour kicked off with a flag-off in Bangsar
Before making its way to Perak, the ULTRA Football Fest Tour officially began on 3 July with the flag-off of the Pesta Bola Ultra roving truck in Bangsar.
The roving activation travelled to different locations with football-themed games and activities, giving fans a taste of what to expect before the tour arrived in Perak for its biggest watch party yet.
Through the roving truck and the main event, U Mobile brought the excitement closer to football supporters while creating more opportunities for fans to connect beyond simply watching the match.
Fans gathered to watch Belgium take on Spain
The live screening of Belgium versus Spain was one of the biggest moments of the night.
Rather than watching from home, supporters experienced every save, close call and goal together in a lively crowd filled with cheers and reactions.
When Spain secured the win with a 2:1 score, the venue erupted as fans celebrated together, creating one of the most memorable moments of the entire event.
Zeem Ahmad, Sharul Kamal, and Alpha kept the crowd entertained
The football action was complemented by live performances from Zeem Ahmad, Sharul Kamal and Alpha, who kept the atmosphere going throughout the night.
Zeem Ahmad appeared in two performance and interaction sessions, giving fans the chance to enjoy his music while also engaging with him up close.
Alpha and Sharul also took to the stage and brought even more energy to the celebration.
One of the night’s standout moments came when Sharul Kamal performed “Gemuruh”, instantly lifting the energy across the venue.
Fans happily sang and vibed along to the familiar track, turning the performance into a lively crowd moment and adding even more excitement to the football celebration.
The entertainment lineup included performances and appearances by Budak Hitam, Ghost, DJ Aria and ALIPP, radio DJs Haziq and Prem, and the Radio Cruisers.
With performances taking place before and between the football action, the crowd had plenty to enjoy throughout the all-night event.
Fans tested their skills through football challenges
The watch party was not only about watching the match.
Visitors also took part in football-themed activities such as PlayStation games, trivia, the Ultra Kick Challenge and a penalty challenge, etc.
The Ultra Penalty Shootout gave fans the opportunity to test their finishing skills, while other interactive booths challenged their speed, knowledge and reflexes.
Whether they were competing seriously or simply joining for fun, the activities gave attendees more ways to be part of the football experience.
Food vendors and interactive activities completed the night
Food vendors were available throughout the event, giving fans the chance to recharge between games, performances and the live screening.
Attendees could also visit the AI robot photobooth and take home a memorable photo from the celebration.
By combining football, entertainment, technology and interactive activities, U Mobile turned the Perak watch party into a complete festival experience rather than a simple match screening.
