Two individuals tragically lost their lives and three were left seriously injured after a tour bus had a head-on collision with a Proton Wira during the early hours of the morning today.
According to Sin Chew Daily, the accident occurred along the North-South Expressway heading towards north, where the tour bus was making its way to KL from Singapore.
The accident also caused a 14km-long traffic jam to take place following the tragedy.

In a Facebook post by the Fire and Rescue Department of Malaysia (JBPM), it wrote that the accident occurred at around 5am, where it involved a La Holiday tour bus and a Proton Wira.
A total of 22 individuals were affected by the accident, where the tour bus was carrying 20 passengers while the Proton Wira had two.
Two bus passengers were killed as a result of the collision, one being the bus driver and the other an Indonesian woman, while another three were severely injured.
Miraculously, the Proton Wira driver and the passenger survived without any injuries, while 15 other bus passengers were taken to the hospital for further treatment.
Meanwhile, Nilai Fire and Rescue Services Department Operations officer Shahrudin Mohd Din said the case is still being investigated to uncover the cause for the accident.
