A Singaporean homeowner recently listed a tiny room for rent, which has drawn significant criticism online due to its extremely cramped space, as the room can only fit a single bed.
According to Sin Chew Daily, this listing was posted on a rental information Facebook page, advertising a room located at Novena Square.
4 walls and 1 bed

“I have a great, very affordable apartment room available for rent. Immediate move-in possible. Interested parties, please contact me immediately for a viewing,” the post read.
The room is stated to be close to the Novena MRT station, highlighting the convenience of the location.
However, photos shared by the homeowner revealed that the room is essentially four walls enclosing just enough space for a single bed, leaving very little room for standing or movement.

“My cat says: not even dogs would stay there,”
The post did not specify the monthly rent, but it quickly went viral, sparking heated discussions and a barrage of criticism from netizens.
“Don’t know what the home owner is thinking.”

“Even worse than jail.”

“Wow, it comes with air conditioning, the owner is so kind!”
