While many hold a driving license and have passed the ‘undang-undang’ exam, how well does everyone actually know the roundabout rules?
Surprisingly, some aren’t even aware they exist.
The Kulai Community Service Team recently took to Facebook to share a snapshot.
Right near the IOI Mall in Kulai, there’s a new mammoth billboard erected, aimed at schooling road-goers on the do’s and don’ts of roundabout etiquette.
“By popular demand, we’ve supersized the roundabout guide! No more excuses for not knowing how to tackle roundabouts, alright? A friendly heads-up – don’t get so engrossed in the billboard that you forget to watch the road!”
This post sparked a buzz among the locals, with many advocating that roundabouts are a smooth traffic flow’s best friend while many lament how many ‘rookies’ seem clueless about using them.
“Perhaps traffic lights are better and safer after all.”
“And also remember to turn on signal.”
“Now this roundabout must be famous.”
