In a heart-wrenching incident in Kuala Lumpur, an 18-year-old boy, Adly Zarkasyi Alzafry, lost his life after falling from the 34th floor of a condominium in Kampung Baru.
The tragedy occurred around 8 pm yesterday as Adly attempted to retrieve his favorite t-shirt from the balcony railing, according to New Straits Times.
Adly, a first-semester Information Technology Diploma student at Universiti Kuala Lumpur (UniKL), was described as a cheerful and adventurous young man by his uncle, Taufik Mohd Zain, 58.
Planned to balik kampung
His uncle is still reeling from the shock, shared that Adly had been preparing to return to his family home in Perlis.
The family had traveled to Perlis the previous evening, but Adly stayed back due to his classes and was scheduled to join them by bus the following day.
Adly, the eldest of three siblings and very close to his uncle, will be remembered for his bravery and spirited nature.
His family, deeply affected by the loss, plans to lay him to rest at the TTDI Jaya Islamic Cemetery in Shah Alam after the completion of the autopsy.
