Residents at a flat were left puzzled after a packet of nasi bungkus was found placed at the same staircase every night without fail, according to a netizen who shared the story online.
The food would appear neatly at the corner of the 7th floor staircase at around 10pm, and over time, residents noticed that it was always on time, with no note and no one coming forward to claim responsibility.

Teen spotted placing food at staircase
She waited near the staircase one night and eventually saw a teenage boy arriving at around 10pm, matching the exact timing residents had been observing.
The boy, believed to be around 14 years old and still wearing his school uniform with a worn-out bag, carefully placed the nasi bungkus at the corner before looking around briefly and preparing to leave.
Mak Cik Timah then stopped him and asked what he was doing there at that hour.
The boy, visibly startled, replied that he was just leaving food at the staircase.
Food meant for man staying on rooftop
When asked who the food was for, the boy hesitated before revealing that it was meant for a man who had been staying on the rooftop of the building.
He explained that he used to be hungry and had no money at a mamak stall, and it was this same man who bought him a meal at the time.
