SHAH ALAM – A photo showing students from the Royal Military Academy (MTD) kneeling face first and kissing the floor collectively as a sign of gratitude has touched the hearts of their teachers.
One of them, Hafizi Amran, said that his students were well-disciplined and showed great respect for teachers, Sinar Harian reported.
“I was extremely touched when they prostrated en masse upon finishing their SPM papers.”
Amran said that the MTD teachers were pleased to tutor and nurture them even though they hardly knew each other at first.
“When they [the students] meet us at school, they will be very respectful, unlike most nowadays.”
Amran added that the students would also bow their heads and be diligent during the SPM examinations, which impressed him deeply.
“We can differentiate between those who respect knowledge and those who don’t. Teacher Piji wishes all of you continued success.”
“Remember to be steadfast in prayer and have faith. InsyaAllah, we hope that everyone will continue to be disciplined and respectful to others,” he says.
