TARUC student found dead at apartment in Setapak

Gone too young.

KUALA LUMPUR – A 20-year-old young man believed to be a student of Tunku Abdul Rahman University College (TARUC) was found dead in a pool of blood on Monday (Mar 7).

The mishap had occurred at around 6am at the PV12 apartment complex in Setapak where the victim was believed to have fallen to his death from the 8th or 9th floor.

His body was later discovered by residents, who then made a distress call to the authorities.

The victim’s identity remains unknown and the body was sent to the Kuala Lumpur General Hospital for an autopsy.

Wangsa Maju district police chief Superintendent confirmed the incident to China Press and said that there were no witnesses or CCTV footage to suggest that this was a case of suicide.

“The body of the deceased has been sent to the hospital and we will wait for the Covid-19 test results before the autopsy is performed.”
