In the 1 minute and 30 second video, a concerned passerby suspected that something was amiss after noticing the car had not budged even though the traffic light turned green several times.

Worried that the driver was potentially in danger, he then contacted the Fire and Rescue Department to hurry over.

Upon arriving at the scene, around five rescuers surrounded the car and one of them shone a torchlight towards the driver’s side and tried opening the car door in hopes of saving the driver.

To their relief, the driver finally woke up and stepped out of the car with a dazed look in his face.

However, their relief proved to be short-lived as the driver became irate over being awakened from his drunken stupor and the first words that came out of his mouth were:

I step out of my car…So, how? What the f**k?

Puzzled by his reaction, one of the rescuers asked the driver whether he was drunk and why he stopped his car in the middle of the road for so long.

This further agitated the driver, who then released a string of slurred and unintelligible words in response.

He eventually calmed down after another rescuer managed to get him to relax.

According to Inforoadblock, the driver is now facing charges for spewing expletives at his rescuers.

‘He doesn’t deserve the help’

Netizens couldn’t understand why the driver had acted this way towards his benefactors and said that it was better to leave him stranded.

“Next time, don’t help people like him. He’s better off getting squashed by a lorry.”

One asked why the driver wasn’t taken to Klang and leave him to get crushed by a container lorry. (Hint: Klang is a hotspot for accidents involving container lorries.)
