As reported by Mothership, an eyewitness named Aeric said he came across the confrontation while stuck in traffic.
According to Aeric, he was unsure what had sparked the dispute between the driver and the officers.
Footage of the incident showed the driver and one police officer arguing before the situation escalated into a physical tussle.
At one point, both men could be seen pushing and confronting each other in the middle of the road.
Aeric said he did not notice anyone suffering visible injuries during the incident.
Police officer throws helmet at driver

The confrontation later became more heated.
In one of the videos, the police officer was seen throwing his motorcycle helmet directly at the driver.
The helmet struck the driver in the face before bouncing away.
The driver briefly staggered before regaining his balance.
He then pushed and kicked the officer.
Another officer steps in
A second police officer subsequently stepped in and attempted to separate the pair.
However, the driver and the first officer continued exchanging words and confronting each other even after they were pulled apart.
They were eventually guided back towards the Singapore registered car.
Several other officers were also seen at the scene directing vehicles into the rightmost lane.
Caused some traffic disruption
Aeric said the altercation did not cause a major traffic jam as traffic was relatively light at the time.
