In a heartwarming TikTok video that’s gone viral, AirAsia celebrated the retirement of one of their longest-serving cabin crew members, Nordin Razali, who just hit the milestone age of 60.
Despite bidding farewell after an impressive 35-year career in the skies, Nordin’s youthful appearance had everyone questioning if he had discovered the secret to eternal youth.
In that video, Nordin, one of AirAsia’s pioneering cabin crew members, was visibly moved as his colleagues surprised him with a memorable retirement party.
Looking as youthful as ever, he delivered his final announcements on board his last flight to Kuching.
“Today is a special day for me. It marks my final flight after 35 wonderful years in the skies,” Nordin shared in his heartfelt farewell.
He expressed gratitude, saying, “Every moment has been magical, and serving all of you has brought me the greatest joy in my career.”

Even AirAsia’s founder and CEO, Tan Sri Tony Fernandes, couldn’t resist giving Nordin a shoutout on his Instagram page.
“Very proud of our diversity. Nordin Razali, the first crew member still flying at 60, looks so young!” he wrote in the post.
Moreover, as a token of appreciation for his decades of service, the kind CEO also gifted Nordin with two tickets to Jeddah, while applauding his employee for all his hard work.
