While most of us would feel full after having one plate of char koay teow, a Singaporean competitive eater has taken on the challenge to consume 7kg of the dish one shot.
And the craziest part? He actually did it!

In a YouTube video posted by competitive eater Zermatt Neo, he said he dropped by a char koay teow stall that was recommended to him by a Penangite, adding that the place’s so hidden that not a single Google review can be found about it.

He then moved on the how the char koay teow’s being made, where he described it as having a “buttery” smell and being slightly wetter than other versions of the dish.
He also praised the stall’s generous portions, commenting that the prawns were “humongous”.

Finally, it came to the moment everyone (including Zermatt) had been waiting for: to completely finish off a giant plate of char koay teow that weighed 7kg in total, where it was topped with tons of prawns, sunny side up eggs, and of course, koay teow noodles.
Without wasting another second, Zermatt immediately dug his chopsticks into the humongous plate and began eating.

All throughout the clip, some bystanders were shocked by the amount of char koay teow Zermatt was consuming, with one uncle asking, “Can ah?”, to which Zermatt quipped, “Can, no problem!”

Several bystanders also watched on with bated breath, wondering Zermatt could truly pull off the gastronomical feat.
In the end, he proved to be successful in consuming 7kg of char koay teow, eliciting claps from the bystanders.
