Sex toys worth over RM500K seized across 4 states
Speaking to reporters at the division office in Putrajaya, Home Ministry Enforcement and Control Division secretary Nik Yusaimi Yussof said checks were conducted on 1,759 premises when the operation began on June 1.

Additionally, 119 investigations papers were launched, leading to seizures worth RM1.2 million. 47 Malaysian men, 3 Malaysian women, and a foreigner were also arrested.
Among the seizures included 15,602 sex toys worth RM540,000 which were believed to have been imported from China and Japan. These items were seized followings raids in Penang, Selangor, Johor and Kedah.
“One of the premises raided in Selangor in Telok Panglima Garang was previously issued a RM5,000 compound over the sales of sex toys but repeated the offense,” he said, adding that investigations will be held and heavier fines will be recommended.

Nik Yusaimi added that several printing machines which were being used without a valid license were also seized during the operation.
“We found printing plates there with these images which suggests that such images were being printed. We view the matter seriously because we do not want comics circulated with lewd images to get into the hands of teenagers or children,” he said.
