The long regarded king of the road, Perodua’s Myvi, is again making rounds on the Internet after a video showing a black Myvi stopping on yellow line and causing traffic jam.
In a video posted on Facebook page named 我们是马来西亚人 We are Malaysians, a Myvi driver was seen selfishly stopping in the middle of a road in Wangsa Maju, at the designated area for bus near a train station.
With the signal on, the thick-skinned Myvi driver continued to stay on the yellow line despite a Rapid KL bus honking at them and a long line of cars forming behind as they blocked the road.
At one point, a bystander went forward to confront the Myvi driver and asked the driver to stop holding up traffic.
The bystander had to confront the Myvi driver once more after he had only moved a few inches and was still blocking the road.
By the end of the video, we can see the Myvi has moved further forward but is still stopped along the side the road.
Netizens were enraged over the Myvi driver’s selfishness
Many were pissed off over the irresponsible behaviour shown by the driver and commented the driver deserved to be summoned.
However, many applauded the man who made the decision to confront the driver.
“That’s the reason why Malaysia always suffers with traffic jam due to these selfish drivers who neglect the law.”
Dear Malaysians, let’s be more considerate to other motorists on the road!
