A sauna was reduced to a smoldering rubble after a fire broke out at Suria KLCC Tower 3 yesterday (Aug 9).
The Fire and Rescue Department said in a statement that they received a distress call at around 5.21pm and dispatched two fire engines and 13 firemen from the Jalan Tun Razak and Titiwangsa fire stations.
Upon arriving at the scene, they found the sauna located on the ground floor on fire.
It took nine minutes to put the fire out, which left the sauna 80% destroyed, reported The Star.
Thankfully, no one was injured by the incident and authorities are looking into the cause of the blaze.
On social media, scores of people could be seen gathering outside of the mall after they were told to evacuate.
