Among the couples that exist within the Malaysian political scene, one of the most recognisable pairs are undoubtedly ex-prime minister Najib Razak and Rosmah Mansor.
However, an online rumour recently surfaced that the couple had gone their separate ways, prompting a response from the former First Lady herself.
Rosmah: ‘I am and still Najib’s wife’
Taking to her official Facebook account to address the rumours, Rosmah called out a Facebook user who impersonated her and falsely claimed that she and Najib had called it quits on their marriage.
In the fake Facebook account, its description wrote that it was the official account of Rosmah and that she was Najib’s ex-wife.
Please take note that the Facebook account ‘Rosmah Binti Mansor’ doesn’t belong to me. I am and still Najib Razak’s wife. Stop spreading lies.
“I also only have one Facebook and TikTok account. Please be informed. Thank you,” she wrote and included the links to her social media accounts in the caption.
Who is Rosmah Mansor?
Aside from being known as the wife of Najib, Rosmah is also infamously known for her love for lavish goods and living a luxurious lifestyle.

She also found herself embroiled in the 1Malaysia Development Berhad (1MDB) scandal, where she was charged with 17 counts of money laundering and tax evasion.
However, all charges were dropped against her last December due to insufficient evidence, reported FMT.
