A TikTok video showing several people eating instant noodles off a rock at a waterfall has gone viral on Twitter.

A step-by-step guide to making ‘Rock Ramen’

The 13-second video first begins with the teens preparing their ‘Rock Ramen’ lunch.

After picking a large boulder as their ‘plate’, they washed it with soap and a sponge, albeit rinsing it with water from the waterfall itself. It is then wiped clean with what looked like a scarf.

They then proceeded to cook the noodles, though it’s unclear how it was done as the camera quickly pans to a man dumping it onto the rock.

After a short prayer, the group then sinks their hands into the noodles, with one giving a thumbs-up at the end of the clip.

‘Leptospirosis has entered the chat’

The video has since garnered more than 7k retweets and 357k views at press time.

Many netizens were repulsed by the group’s actions, with one saying that “the level of stupidity in this video is off the charts”.

Others also warned of the existence of deadly diseases like Leptospirosis, which is common in waterfalls in Malaysia.
