Netizens mourn Toby’s passing
In the comment section, netizens shared Syed Saddiq’s grief and sent their condolences over Toby’s passing.
Some also said that losing one’s pet is never easy as it was equal to that of a human being passing away.
For those who don’t know, Syed Saddiq’s two cats, Toby and Meow Meow came into the public limelight before GE15.
This comes after the Muar MP declared them both as assets before a group of reporters in a press conference last November.
“Since my cats are a gift from my brother and my friend from 2018 and 2019, I am going to declare them as my valuables because they are invaluable to me,” he said.
Aside from that, he also has an Instagram page specially dedicated to his cats, where he uploads photos of them from time to time.
Rest well and enjoy all the fish in cat heaven, Toby!
