A journalist from China went viral again on social media after she conducted an interview in fluent Malay with Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Seri Ahmad Zahid.
In a 1-minute clip posted on her Facebook, Husna Liang impressively carried out the interview, which was conducted in conjunction with the 50th anniversary celebration of Malaysia-China diplomatic relations.

Interview in fluent Malay
Liang Liang, widely recognized as Husna, is a journalist from the China Media Group (CMG) who has captured the public’s attention due to her remarkable fluency in Malay.
In this interview, Husna and Zahid talked about how to maintain and enhance the bond between China and Malaysia.
Zahid also praised China for their hospitality and welcoming attitude towards Malaysian representatives.
Throughout the whole conversation, Husna spoke in fluent Malay professionally.

A Malaysian favorite
Originally from the Yunnan province, Husna previously went viral when she was interviewed by local media during the Asian Games in China.
According to New Strait Times, Husna earned her nickname from her Bahasa Malaysia lecturer at the Yunnan Minzu University. She has garnered more than 500,000 followers on her social media accounts, with many of them being from Malaysia.
Husna admitted that she is a huge fan of songstress Datuk Siti Nurhaliza. She credited her improvement in Bahasa Malaysia to listening to Siti’s songs.
Husna picked up the language following a one-year exchange student program with Universiti Malaya. She is also speaking in Bahasa with Malaysian journalists covering the ongoing Asian Games in Hangzhou.
