A Twitter post shared by @4hmadsyaf1q92 yesterday (31st Jan) shows a woman caught recording a movie with her phone.
The incident allegedly took place at a TGV Cinemas outlet, with him imploring the cinema chain to take action.
‘You can’t record in the cinema’
The video starts off with a theatre staff member saying, “There’s someone recording in the cinema,” before turning on the flash light to catch the culprit red handed.
After informing the lady that filming in the movie theatre was prohibited, she quickly put her phone away.
She was also caught having the camera application running in the background of her phone.
When confronted by the staff over her actions, the girl tried to defend herself by saying that she had paid for see the film.
However, the staff refused to hear her excuses and demanded that he check her phone. He also told her to delete the recordings.
Still defiant, the girl challenged his authority to inspect her phone and said that she would delete the recordings much later.
“We will only record a little bit”
In a follow up tweet, @4hmadsyaf1q92 was able to track down the girl’s TikTok account, where it contained several snippets of her recording the film.
In response, the girl posted a TikTok video posted yesterday to explain her side of the story.
According to her, she was on a movie date with her sister and decided to film a small portion of the film.
We are in the cinema. We can’t record (in full), so we will only record a bit for you all, ” her sister could be heard saying.
